Title: Poppy Seed Chicken
Description:
This is my favorite baked dish, and it is just soooo easy. The sauce that this makes is great for topping mashed potatoes in place of gravy.
Ingredients:
6-8 (split) Chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
1 8-oz. carton of sour cream
2 Tablespoons poppy seeds
1 sleeve Ritz crackers (crushed)
1 stick butter (melted)
Directions:
Lightly brown chicken breasts in small amount of butter. Set aside. Combine soup, sour cream, and 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds. Pour over chicken in a 9x13 in. pyrex casserole. Melt butter in a small saucepan and add crushed Ritz crackers and 1 tabelspoon poppy seeds. Sprinkle cracker mixture to cover chicken and sauce. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until bubbly. Enjoy!
