1 unbaked pie shell
1 can pumpkin
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. sugar or light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. evaporated milk
Bake pie shell only 5 minutes. Combine eggs, sugar, salt, and spices; beat well. Blend in pumpkin. Add milk and beat well. Turn into pie shell. Bake in hot oven (450 degrees) for 10 minutes, then reduce heat and bake 40 minutes to 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Pie is done when inserted knife comes out of center clean.
