Tuna Casserole
½ & ½ almost full quart
milk homogenized
½ cup real butter
¾ cup Velveta
1 T. salt
2-12 ounce can tuna one each oil and water
24 ounce package egg noodles cooked
Put ½ & ½ and milk into a big sauce pan. Turn on high. In second saucepan melt butter then add ¾ cup flour. Just before milk boils add butter mixture. Let milk boil for 1 minute. Turn off, add Velveta and let melt and add salt to taste. Add tuna to noodles, mix well and add milk mixture. Bake at 350° with cover for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake at 300° for an additional hour.
