Recipe: 2 cans red beans 3/4 stick butter Garlic salt Instant Rice Empty red beans (with liquid) into pan. Add 1/2 stick of the butter. Cook over med. heat for about 20 min. Stir occasionally. Meanwhile, cook rice according to package directions, adding remaining butter and garlic salt to taste. Start mashing beans against side of pan with a fork. Cook additonal 5 min. (If red beans are too thick, add water or broth). Serve over rice. Can add cooked sausage if desired.
