FLOUR TORTILLAS

Recipe: Flour Tortillas 4 cups flour 2 tsp. salt 1 cup warm water 1/2 cup shortening Place flour in bowl and add salt, and shortening. Cut shortening with two knives or with hands until size of a pea or smaller. Add the water and knead until smooth. Cut the dough the size of a golf ball or smaller depending on the size of tortilla desired. Cook in medium heat on a grill or frying pan without any greese until slightly brown. Turn and do the same ont he other side. Tortillas will bubble at times. Serve hot or may be reheated in the grill or microwave oven for 30 seconds or as desired.
