1 lb hot italian sausage
1 lb ground beef
3 tbsp cumin
3 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp ground pepper
1 can garbanzo beans
2 cans hot chili beans
2 cans diced tomatoes with green chilis
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 small can tomato sauce
Brown the hamburger and italian sausage together with the onion and garlic and 1 tbsp of each the cumin and chili powder.
I like this recipe in a crock pot but you could cook it stovetop as well. Add the browned meat to the rest of the above ingredients and cook on low for 2 hours in the crockpot or 30-40 minutes stovetop.
