Jim's Spaghetti

Recipe: JIM’S SPAGHETTI (serves 8) 2 tbl Extra virgin olive oil 1 lb Ground Beef (20% fat) 2 cans 8oz ea. tomato sauce 1 can 6oz. tomato paste 1 ea onion (Spanish or white) 2 to 3 cl garlic 1½ tbl oregano 1/3 tsp ea salt & pepper 2 ea bay leaves Mince garlic and chop onions in at least quarters. Place 2 tablespoons of olive oil in pan or pot. Sauté onions and garlic slightly and add ground beef sautéing until meat is brown. Drain off most of the juices. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, seasonings, bay leaves, and cook for about 1 hour or more, adding water as necessary so as not to dry out much. Add 1 lb of pasta to boiling water and cook until tender, about 12 to 14 minutes.
