This is the easiest roast beef dinner you will ever make! Thaw roast beef in the refrigerator overnight so the meat is not frozen. Put roast beef in a crock pot (or slow cooker) along with one package of Lipton onion soup mix and 2 cups of water. Cook on low heat for approximately 8-9 hours. If you are pressed for time you can also cook on high for 5-6 hours, but cooking on low will allow the meat to be more tender and juicy. If you wish, you can add peeled potatos and carrots to the mixture approximately 2 hours before it's done, but you don't have to. When finished you will have a lean, juicy, flavorful meal without a lot of fuss or dishes to clean up! |
