Stuffed Mushrooms

Recipe: 8 oz Cream Cheese, room temperature 1/2 lb bacon (use more or less, according to taste) 1 lb mushrooms, rinsed and stemmed (try to get ones the same size) Cut up raw bacon into small pieces. Fry until crispy. Drain on paper towel, reserving the bacon grease. In a bowl, place cream cheese, bacon bits, and 3 tablespoons of bacon grease. Mix well. Stuff mushrooms with filling and place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. It depends on the size of the mushrooms. I usually take them out when most of them are 'weeping' juices. Serve warm. Not low fat, definitely rich, and be prepared to hand out the recipe. Enjoy.
