24 Nutter Butter sandwich cookies
5 Tbsp butter, melted
1 pkg (8oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 tub (8oz) whipped topping, thawed, divided
Crush: cookie in a zipper style bag with a rolling pin or a food processor. Mix cookie crumbs and butter. Press onto bottom and sides of 9 in. pie plate.
Mix: cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar and vanilla w/ electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Gently stir in 1 1/2 cups of whipped topping.
Freeze: 4 hr or over night until firm. Let stand until pie can be easily cut for serving. Garnish with remaining whipped cream, additional cookies, and chocolate chips if desired. |
