1 ½ CUP OR 3 STICKS OF MARGARINE OR BUTTER
2 CUPS GRAHAM CRACKER CRUMBS
2 EGGS
2 CUPS CONFECTIONERS SUGAR
6 BANANAS
1 20 oz CAN CRUSHED PINEAPPLE
1 SM BTL MARASCHINO CHERRIES
½ CUP CHOPPED PECANS
1 LGE CARTON COOL WHIP
STEP 1:
MELT 1 STICK MARGARINE AND MIX WITH GRAHAM CRACKER CRUMBS. PRESS INTO A 13X9 PAN (PLACE IN FRIG UNTIL READY FOR FILLING)
STEP 2:
WHIP 2 STICKS MARGARINE, EGGS AND CONFECTIONERS SUGAR FOR 15 MINUTES; SPREAD OVER GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST.
STEP 3:
LAYER: THE SLICED BANANAS, SPREAD DRAINED PINEAPPLE AND COOL WHIP. TOP WITH 12 CHERRIES (1 1/2" APART) AND SPRINKLE THE PECANS
REFRIGERATE OVERNIGHT OR 4 HRS BEFORE SERVING.
OPTIONAL: TO PREVENT THE BANANA SLICES FROM DISCOLORING, SOAK IN THE PINAPPLE JUICE, THEN DRAIN BEFORE ADDING TO DESSERT.
