Herbed Pork Chops |

1 t. dried crushed sage
1 t. dried rosemary, crushed
2 minced garlic cloves, or 1 t. garlic powder
1/4 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
1/2 t. onion powder
1 T. minced parsley
4 Boneless pork chops
1 T. butter or margarine
1 T. olive oil
3/4 C. dry wite wine or apple juice
combine all spices, rub over both sides of pork chops. In a large pan add the butter and oil, brown pork chops on both sides. Remove the pork chops and keep them warm. Add 1/2 C. of the wine or juice to the pan, bring to a boil. Return the chops to the pan. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 8-10 min. or until cooked through. Remove chops and keep warm. Add the remaining liquid to the pan,bring to a boil, loosening any browned bits. Cook,uncovered,until liquid is reduced to 1/2 cup. Pour over pork chops and top with additional parsley. enjoy :) |
