Sugared Pecans

Recipe: 1 pound pecan halves 1 egg white 1 teaspoon water 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar (light) 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon salt Preheat your oven to 250 degree. Beat egg white and water together till fluffy in a medium size bowl. Fold in pecan halves and mix till coated well. Mix together sugars and salt in a larger bowl. Fold in pecans and and mix till all sugar is coated onto your pecan halves. This will look like a lot of sugar but do not worry it will cling to your pecans. Spread pecans onto a cookie sheet and bake for 1 hour. Toss pecans after first 1/2 hour. These are so good. Let your pecans cool completely then store in an airtight container. These are great to snack on, put onto a pumpkin cheesecake, on ice cream or even into your pecan pie.
