1 small bag split peas, 1C.chopped onions, 1/2C.chopped celery, 1/2C. sliced carrots, 2 chicken bouillon cubes,
1 bay leaf, 1tsp. salt, 1/4tsp.pepper, 1+1/2C.diced ham
Soak peas overnight,drain.Put all ingrediants in crock pot exept ham and just cover with water.Cook on high for 4 hrs.
and then turn to low for additional 3-4 hrs. or until soup is thick. Add the ham the last hour. |
