Wiesbaden is a beautiful place to leave. I live in Heinerberg right by the commissary, px and the schools. Sometimes my daughter and her friends come to our apartment for lunch. The students are awesome, they made my kids at home immediately and lots of trip at the Teen ctr. Food is provided to all kids FREE at the teen ctr and lots of games.
My husband and I walk downtown, about 7 mins walk and we just sit right in front of McDonalds with our coffee and watch shoppers walking by. It's beautiful! I have been dreaming of coming back to Germany since Hanau base was closed so being here in Germany is a dream come true. Another amazing thing is since we've been here my kids have Not fallen ill, we've been here for 1 1/2 yrs. My daughter use to fall sick every 3 months back in the states. All I can say is when you are happy, sickness disappears.
